WE CARE is providing HPV vaccination for Veerni girls!

Since WE CARE's inception, Veerni has been an invaluable partner organization in our shared mission to empower girls and provide them with the opportunities they deserve. Veerni's commitment to educating child brides, orphaned girls, and those denied the fundamental right to an education is truly commendable.

What sets Veerni apart is its holistic approach to empowerment. Not only does Veerni focus on education, but it also prioritizes the overall health and well-being of the girls under its care. From providing health services to extending support to families and entire villages, Veerni's impact is far-reaching and transformative.

For the past eight years, WE CARE has proudly supported Veerni's remarkable work through unrestricted funding. However, this year, we are excited to announce a dedicated initiative:

WE CARE will be funding 100% HPV vaccination for all 112 girls associated with Veerni.

Currently, over 70,000 women die from cervical cancer in India every year and there is little to no cervical cancer screening available especially in rural areas. As an organization dedicated to empowering women, we understand the importance of preventative medicine in women’s rights. By partnering with Veerni on this initiative, we aim to safeguard their health and empower them to lead fulfilling lives free from preventable diseases.

We hope you consider donating to WE CARE. Every $33 donation provides a dose of the HPV vaccine for one girl. The initial dose provides up to 80% protection from HPV and additional doses increase protection up to 99%. Every dose counts!
